Forever haunted by my sins,
Atonement is all I seek.
Hades has let hell loose.
Tender soul is tormented.
Restitution my heart sings for.
I'm standing still.
Every second counts.
Yet time flies not.
My past clings like a tattoo.
Like a shadow I'm stuck.
Stuck to memories.
Scars screaming different tales.
Nature not so soothing,
Love long gone extinct.
My soul's anguished,
Forever in chains.
How long till love is restituted?
Years it might take,
Months or days too,
But I'll be waiting.
